From screens to ecosystems and back again.

My journey started in code. Four years of IT & Media Design at Fontys gave me the foundation: programming, UI/UX design, and the discipline of building things that actually work. But somewhere between the screens and the deadlines, I realised I wanted to work on something living.

So I switched. In 2023 I started a Bachelor in Applied Biology at HAS Green Academy, and quickly found my place on the bridge between two worlds. Today I use what I learned in tech to solve problems in biology that would take days to do by hand: counting stomata on plant leaves, identifying fish eggs by species, automating the tedious so researchers can focus on what matters.

Alongside my studies I run PrintShark.nl, a 3D printing business I founded in 2024 that taught me marketing, customer contact, and what it actually takes to ship something real. In the field I work as a sound analyst at RPS, studying bats, house sparrows and common swifts for ecological research and species protection.

I also design and build websites end to end, from WordPress and Shopify stores to fully custom-coded sites. Whether someone needs a slick storefront, a portfolio, or something completely bespoke, I can take it from sketch to live.

I'm enthusiastic, results-oriented, and most at home where biology meets technology. If your work sits somewhere on that bridge, that's where I come alive.
